The Tunisia-based CAT company is always in the forefront

Cat is among the first companies – the first cement factory in Tunisia – to have attained the important goal of being granted the ISO 9001 ( 2015 Version) certification for its Quality Management System, which represents a new step ahead in the management of its processes and of the social and environmental impact of its activities.

This latest version of ISO 9001certification , which was published in the month of September 2015, allows for strategic orientation of the organization , its internal and external challenges , the economic context, any potential future opportunity and a risk-based new company policy . Cat has had its remarkable efforts recognized with this important achievement , which is the result of the firm dedication by the General Management to continuous improvement of products and services, compliance with law and standard requirements as well as customer’s satisfaction.

Cat’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency and production costs reduction will soon be ‘transformed ‘ into the implementation of an energy system which will allow to obtain the ISO 50001 certification.
