The Financo Group enters the renewable energy sector

The Financo Group, owned by the Colaiacovo family - parent company  of Colacem, Colabeton, Domicem, CAT, Tracem, Park Hotel ai Cappuccini, Poggiovalle, Autodromo di Misano among other  - enters the renewable energy sector with GREENFIN ENERGY S.r.l.

The new company is the result of a partnership between Financo Group (80%) and Ecosuntek (20%) , which  has been operating in the renewable energy sector for many years, and can boast  highly advanced know-how and specific skills .
“This collaboration – says the new Chairman, Mr. Luca Colaiacovo,  - has great potential. Our investments will be strictly in line with the guidelines of the European Union in terms of energy transition. The Financo Group has significant areas available  , which are suitable  for hosting plants for the production of energy from renewable sources. We will develop in-house technologies and experience, which will be useful also for the production of cement (the core business of the Financo Group), a notoriously energy-intensive activity. Development in this area opens up interesting future scenarios, such as the use of green hydrogen".
