Colacem Sustainability Report new edition
A big novelty this year: the inclusion of companies based abroad and Colabeton company for the concrete sector.
The new edition of Colacem Sustainability Report is available on line, on the dedicated section of this website.
This tenth edition of the Report has been drawn up accordingly to the G4 ( core) guidelines of GRI, and revised by Deloitte.
Although the core of the account reporting , as for the past editions, is represented by the activities carried out by Colacem in Italy, this edition also includes the most important sustainability indicators of the Group’s foreign companies that produce or distribute cement , as well as of Colabeton company for the concrete industry.
This novelty is aimed at providing an exhaustive and more detailed overview of the sustainable industrial approach implemented by Colacem and Gruppo Financo worldwide.
The use of a number diagrams and explanatory tables clearly shows the company’s continuous improvement in the field of emission reduction (-40% emissions of specific dusts during 2014-2016 three-year period). In addition, 13,4% of fuels and 6,2 % of raw materials have been recovered from non-hazardous waste in order to safeguard natural resources.
The Report will become an increasingly important and fundamental communication tool aimed at enhancing relationships with surrounding territories , communities and stakeholders in general.
